DIRK HAGEMEIJER NAMED SALES DIRECTOR, TIETEX EUROPE BV.

Spearheads Corporation's Entry Into Upholstery Market.

SPARTANBURG, SC -- Tietex International, Ltd., has appointed Dirk Hagemeijer to spearhead the corporation's immediate entry into Europe's upholstery market.
   
According to Reed Cunningham, Tietex president and COO, Hagemeijer has been named European sales director of Tietex Europe BV.  "Dirk will supervise independent sales agents, in addition to his direct sales responsibility; and he will have oversight of our warehouse distribution," he said.

The Tietex Europe BV sales division is headquartered in Oirschot, near Eindhoven, The Netherlands; and warehouse operations are located near Rotterdam.

Hagemeijer and his news sales division will make their European debut when Decosit convenes in Brussels in September. "Dirk will be showing European buyers a large offering of Tietex proprietary fabrics for the first time," Cunningham said.

Previously export manager for J. A. Raymakers Velvet, Hagemeijer brings Tietex over 23 years of diversified experience as an entrepreneur and sales executive. A native of The Netherlands, he is a graduate of the Retail College, Eindhoven.
